Unidos por la Tierra y la Comunidad is a community-driven coalition in Eastern North Carolina (ENC) that empowers Latine communities most impacted by climate related disasters. We work to build resilience, amplify local voices, and promote equitable access to resources and decision-making through research, education, leadership development, and advocacy. Originally funded by an EPA Community Change Grant.

Facilitation for North Carolina Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster

In the spirit of the “4 Cs,” we collaborate with NC Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster by providing facilitation support for their coordination calls in the immediate period response to disasters.

Nonprofit Capacity Community

Nonprofits are vital to the health of communities, particularly the most vulnerable ones. We hold space for nonprofits to work on themselves and build sustainability so that they can continue to offer the services upon which so many rely on when disaster strikes.
